C37100 is a widely used leaded brass alloy, mainly composed of copper and zinc with added lead for improved machinability. It belongs to the class of alpha-beta brass alloys and is well-suited for applications requiring good strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent machinability.

Lead (Pb): Approximately 1.5 – 2.5%
Iron (Fe) and other minor elements: Trace amounts up to about 0.3%
