CZ130 (also known as CW624N) is a machinable, duplex (alpha/beta) brass alloy known for its good strength, corrosion resistance, and attractive yellow lustre.

Lead (Pb): 1.60% - 3.00%
Aluminium (Al): 0.05% - 5.00%
Zinc (Zn): Balance (approx. 38-43%)
Minor elements: Trace amounts possible

Proof Stress (0.2% offset): 150 - 220 MPa
Elongation (A50 mm): 20 - 30%
Hardness (Vickers): 90 - 120 HV

Fabrication and Machinability
Excellent hot working, often formed by hot extrusion into complex profiles
Poor to fair cold working ability
Very good machinability rating (~90 compared to free cutting brass CZ121/CW614N rated 100)
Excellent soldering and brazing capability
Welding generally not recommended except for friction welding and fair resistance welding
