CW719R is a naval brass alloy with a 60:40 copper-zinc ratio, enhanced with about 1% tin to significantly improve corrosion resistance, particularly against dezincification. This two-phase alpha-beta brass offers reasonably high strength but lower ductility than single-phase alpha brass alloys.
