C61400 is a wrought aluminium bronze alloy, also known as CuAl8Fe3, recognised for its excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and ductility.

Copper (Cu): Balance (~90-92%)
Aluminium (Al): About 7% – 8%
Iron (Fe): Approximately 2% – 3%
Manganese (Mn), Nickel (Ni), and other elements: Minor amounts

Proof Stress (Yield Strength): Approximately 230 MPa
Elongation: Around 35%
Hardness: ~100 HB (Brinell Hardness)

Density: About 8.5 g/cm³
Melting Range: Approximately 1040°C to 1050°C
