C61400 is an aluminium bronze alloy also known as CuAl8Fe3, with excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, suitable for high-load and demanding environmental applications.

Copper (Cu): Balance (~90-92%)
Aluminium (Al): 7 – 8%
Iron (Fe): 2 – 3%
Manganese (Mn), Nickel (Ni), Zinc (Zn): Small amounts of each as impurities

Ultimate Tensile Strength: About 520 MPa (75 ksi)
Proof Stress (Yield Strength): About 230 MPa (33 ksi)
Elongation: Around 35%
Hardness: Approximately 100 HB (Brinell)
