CC765S

CC765S is a high-tensile brass alloy known for its good strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance. It is part of the EN 1982 standard for casting brasses and is widely used in industrial applications requiring wear resistance and mechanical durability.

• Zinc (Zn): Balance (remaining majority)

• Aluminium (Al): 0.5 - 2.5%

• Iron (Fe): 0.5 - 2.0%

• Manganese (Mn): 0.5 - 3.0%

• Nickel (Ni): Up to 6.0%

• Phosphorus (P): Max 0.03%

• Lead (Pb): Max 0.5%

• Tin (Sn): Max 1.0%

• Antimony (Sb): Max 0.08%

• Silicon (Si): Max 0.01%

Mechanical Properties

• Tensile Strength: 450 - 500 MPa

• Yield Strength: 170 - 200 MPa
